Slot conference

The slot conference allows airlines and coordinators to meet face-to-face to review their slot portfolio and finalize their future schedules and it is normally held bi-annually. The Slot Conference is a working conference. As part of the slot process, the purpose of this voluntary assembly of both SARDA and non-SARDA airlines worldwide is to provide a forum for the allocation of slots at fully coordinated airports, and for the reaching of consensus on the schedule adjustments necessary to conform to airport capacity limitations.

  • SARDA, the Society for Aviation Research and Development in Asia (previously known as Aircrew Network and incorporated in Singapore), was founded in 1999 . It started off as a small group of Singapore aviation professionals. The society has evolved and expanded its scope and visibility, increasing its effort in growing conferences, events and developing relationships with other prominent industrial groups to actively research and develop in order to meet the growing challenges of the fast developing general and business aviation sector.
