Airport Slots
The shortage of capacity in the airport system to cope with increasing demand is a major concern. In reference with the Level 3 designed airports, the number of 160 is expectedly to grow over the next five years. Committees of various workgroups have been set up to look into this trend. Worldwide Slot Guidelines have also been set and it is the recognised global standard for all the policies, principles and procedures of airport slot management.
